The purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft has raised quite a few questions about the future of the saga. For example, recently Microsoft was explicitly promoted to continue launching Call of Duty in PlayStation “beyond existing agreements.” And, now, the company also affirms that you would like to bring these titles to the Nintendo Switch. In an interview with CNBC, Microsoft’s president Brad Smith, said that “we would like to take Call of Duty to Nintendo devices. We would also like to bring the other popular titles that Activision Blizzard has, make sure that they are still available in PlayStation And they begin to be available in Nintendo. ” However, this does not mean that Activision has active plans to develop Call of Duty games for Switch, at least at the moment. Everything will depend on the circumstances when the purchase is effective in 2023.
