One of Disney’s most beloved films in the 2000s is a crazy Friday, a tape that is a kind of remake for a classic that appeared in the 60s. It is worth mentioning that it has been more dear than the original, and that is due to the charism of the protagonists, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, who apparently want the sequel.
While walking on the red carpet of Glass Onion: Knives Out Mystery by Ran Johnson, Jamie Lee told Variety that both she and Loan are committed to make this production a reality. Well, for years, fans have asked, this through social networks, even the journalists themselves have asked them.
Curtis has said the following:
We are talking. People are talking. The right people are talking. It is not 100% in our power, it is Disney. I think they are interested and we are talking. That’s all I can say.
The plot of a mad Friday raises us as a duo of mother and daughter who change body after opening a cookie of fortune. The film received positive praise from critics and raised more than $160 million against a budget of $26 million. Curtis also received a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a movie-musical or comedy.
Remember that this first part is available in Disney Plus.

Editor’s note: Now that other classics such as Abracadabra or Enchanted are receiving their respective second parts, I think it is time to bring the nice actresses to comedy. It will be a matter of waiting to have more news.
