One piece of Dragon flights post-launch duration that we haven’t seen yet is the arrival of the Mythic Dungeon International. After currently narrowing the top 24 down through Time Trials, the competitive group stages will start this weekend, February 17-19th.
Blizzard has also released a new trailer for the championship seasons start, flaunting simply some of what awaits in this first Dragon flight MDI run. The group phases begin February 17-19th, when the 8 teams in Group A will contend. February 24th-26th will see the eight teams in Group B do the very same. With Group C contending from March 3rd-5th.
What this is all leading up to is the first Dragon flight Mythic Dungeon International Championship. The global finals will feature the leading two groups from each group who’ll go on to complete for the champion, which will be determined in April. The winner will get a share of the $300,000 reward pool, with another $120,000 vowed in the type of $30,000 awards for each group.
Obviously, everything will be streamed live on the Warcraft Twitch and YouTube channels, with each of the group sessions beginning at 10 AM PST on the pertinent dates.
There will be a last stand group from March 10-12th, which is open to anyone who wants to sign up (through February 27th) and offer it a shot. These four groups will all complete, with the leading two dungeons running groups from each headed into the final round.
Blizzard has actually revealed the broadcast talent for the event season, and will also be inviting a few of the competitors to stream their own perspectives via a new round of watch celebrations. When it comes to the competition broadcast skill, those formally on board are:

- Byronic
